About Me
My name is Yana, I am 35 years old and I live in Kyiv. I am a clinical psychologist and Gestalt therapist (in training, level II, Kiev Gestalt University).
My university is the only one in Ukraine that has received accreditation in the European Association of Gestalt Psychotherapy (EAGT) and the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP). Therefore, my training is carried out in accordance with European standards. I am also a member of the National Psychological Association of Ukraine (NPA).
Approach to therapy
Gestalt therapy is the closest to me, because it works at a very deep level and at the same time pays a lot of attention to contact, joint exploration of the processes occurring with the client, involves empathy on the part of the therapist, which in itself has a healing effect.
I am ready to be with you if you want to regain interest in your life, understand how it works and how you live with it. Become aware of the choices you make «automatically» and how you can do them differently. Attentive to your feelings and desires, together we can explore the pillars you can rely on when deciding on something new.
Focus on relationships
I am interested in how you build relationships with yourself and other people. What fills you up and how you lose energy.
Client support
With respect and care, I am ready to provide support and accompany you on this difficult but exciting journey to yourself. I am inspired by the sincerity and courage of my clients — because it can be very difficult: to come like that, to ask for help from a psychologist, to share what is difficult to come to terms with within yourself.
View on psychotherapy
I do not have the idea that in order to come to therapy, you must necessarily be «with problems». For me, psychotherapy is a tool that allows a person to learn to better understand themselves, look at themselves with love, interact with people differently, become free and happy.
